Our Dolomites bike tour is the perfect opportunity to ride some of the most famous mountain passes in the Alps. It takes cyclists to the top of the Passo Campolongo, Passo Falzarego and Passo Gardena. Not to mention, but it also leads riders up the Pordoi pass with its 6.9% grade and 27 hairpin bends. Cycling in the Dolomites will definitely take your breath away.

Day 1: Meet in Bolzano

From Kardauner Bozen to Fié allo Sciliar (13 miles)
Bozen is a wonderful little town to visit before meeting your trip leaders. It offers many nice restaurants and shops and there is always something going on its central square. If you have time before meeting your guides, the city of Bolzano is definitely a place worth staying a night or two.

Day 2: Explore South Tyrol

From Fié allo Sciliar to Corvara in Badia (33 miles)
Today, the South Tyrol sets the perfect stage for a beautiful bike ride. It has scenic cycling routes, spectacular mountain peaks and green alpine meadows. Following a challenging ride, your day through the South-Tyrol ends in the town of Corvara.

Day 3: Climb the Passo Campolongo

From Corvara in Badia to Corvara in Badia (32 miles)
The Campolongo Pass gets your heart pumping. Located at an altitude of 1875 m, it is one of the most challenging ride of the week. With an average grade of 6.0% and a total of 13 hairpins, the Campolongo is considered by most cyclists as the best pass to learn how to climb hairpins.

Day 4: Spend the evening in Cortina d’Ampezzo

From Corvara in Badia to Cortina d’Ampezzo (29 miles)
Cortina di Ampezzo is your dream destination of the day. It offers spectacular scenery, the tops in shopping and a great restaurant choice. In the evening, Cortina is definitely worth taking a stroll along Via Cesare Battisti before dinner at one of the local restaurants.

Day 5: Discover Lake Misurina

From Cortina d’Ampezzo to Cortina d’Ampezzo (29 miles)
For your last day of cycling, Lago di Misurina is an stunning lake. It is one of the smallest lakes in the Dolomites and is truly beautiful. Misurina is often referred as the pearl of the Dolomites for a good reason.

Day 6: End your trip in Venice

End of the trip
Traveling to the Dolomites, Venesia is definitely a city for one’s bucket list. It is famous for its gondolas, canals and unforgettable romantic ambiance. The city on water should certainly be on your list before flying to your next destination.

How to get to the starting location

  • Buy your flight(s) to Milan or Venice
  • Buy your train ticket(s) from Venice or Milan to Bolzano on www.raileurope.com
  • Make sure to check online for any timetable changes or railway company track maintenance
  • In case of a delay, please email or call your trip leaders

We ask you to limit the number of bags you bring to 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on luggage, due to the limited space in our minivan. In order to deliver your bags to your room, we ask that each bag has a clear luggage identification tag.
