Day 1: Take your first bike ride on a coastal road along the Mediterranean Sea

From L’Argentella to Calvi (15 miles)
For your first bike ride of the week, the west coast of Corsica awaits you as you ride a nice road along the coast. The coastal road on today’s itinerary offers great coastline views along the Mediterranean Sea and amazing scenery all the way to your hotel located on a hill overlooking the town and the Mediterranean. Your overnight hotel stay is the hotel La Villa where the clerk welcomes you.

Day 2: Ride through spectacular villages and dine in Calvi

From Calvi to Calvi (37 miles)
Your ride goes on the road of the artisans. Cycle through the hill-top villages of Cateri and Pigna before you ride to the top of Sant’Antonino, the oldest Corsican Village. In the evening, head to Calvi and discover the Calvi citadelle before dinner on your own in town.

Day 3: Discover Porto located at the foot of the Col de Vergio and ride the Calanque de Piana

From Galeria to Piana (32 miles)
Surrounded by the nearby Scandola nature reserve and the Foret d’aitone, Porto is a village that sits in a sensational location. Just above Porto, the col de Vergio considered as one of the highest col in Corsica and famous for the many cyclists stopping by the Col de Vergio statue, connects the east and west coast of the island. South of Porto, discover Piana listed as one one of the most beautiful villages in France and overlooking the Calanque de Piana. Your trip itinerary takes you on a coastal road. Transfer to your hotel in the center of Corsica and east of the port of Propriano.

Day 4: Ride through the mountains and climb the Col de Bavella

From Levie to Sota (34 miles)
The Col de Bavella, a scenic mountain pass, located between Sartene and Porto Vecchio and often referred as the most breathtaking ride in Corsica, is yours to tackle this morning. Test your fitness as you ride along with your newfound friends and cycle through the famous Alta Rocca mountains, a famous rock climbing site, arriving at 5,039 feet. On the way picturesque villages attract your attention making the climb a little easier.

Day 5: Ride a jet ski between Corsica and Sardinia before cycling inland in the afternoon

From Bonifacio to Bonifacio (16 miles)
Ride a jet ski toward the Lavezzi archipelago, a collection of granite islands situated between Corsican mainland and Sardinia, before an afternoon ride in the surrounding of Bonifacio. Your ride takes you cycling on a scenic road offering beautiful views on the island of Sardinia. In the evening, pack your cycling gear as you’re done for the week.

Day 6: End your trip or stay a few more days to discover Bastia, the Cap Corse or Porto Cervo

End of the trip
Cycling in Corsica is coming to an end. Don’t want to leave yet, Bastia, a city situated in the north east of the French island of Corsica is a good starting base for those of you that want to stay a few more days. Soccer fans may even go see the SC Bastia play in the Stade Armand Cesari. You may visit the Cap Corse famous for having some of the most beautiful fishing villages in Corsica. In St Florent discover Saleccia, the most famous beach on the island of Corsica. Porto Cervo considered the most exclusive Italian seaside resort in Sardinia can also be on your list if you choose to travel to the Costa Smeralda and the famous Porto Cervo marina.
