Our Czech bike tour is a journey through time and history. On the first 3 days we bicycle between 25 and 35 miles through the Czech Republic countryside famous for it castles, red-titles roof villages and beautiful forests before arriving in Austria, a country known for its elegance. Combining those two destinations is a great start for cyclists looking to experience the meaning of the expression "bike tours Czech".
Meet in Vienna and shuttle 30 minutes to the bottom of the castle of Senftenberg for a light lunch and bike fitting session before getting on your bike for your first ride of the week thru the Wachau valley.
Today's ride is an easy ride through vineyards and manicured villages to the Hotel Richard Lö- wenherz, a former monastery and our home for the next two nights. This evening dinner is served at one of the best michelin star restaurant in Austria.
Today's ride is the easiest of the week, you ride from your hotel along the Danube river to the Abbey of Melk which was founded in 1089. Lunch is at restaurant just across from the abbey.

This morning and after a home style breakfast with your new found friends transfer to the town of Hulboka. From there, start riding through the countryside on a easy ride until your reach the medieval and very traditional village of Holasovice.

Transfer to the chateau of Mcely a former hunting lodge and country residence of several noble families for a wonderful picnic lunch in the gardens of the chateau.
In the afternoon, start riding through the st George forest, an easy ride through farming villages and forest on traffic free roads. This evening dinner is served in the dining room of the chateau.
During our second day in the Bohemia we continue to discover the Czech country side on our way to Kost castle where we stop for lunch and try some traditional Czech cuisine. On the way back to your hotel we stop for a tour of a brewery and get to taste different beers.
Back at the hotel take time to enjoy the amenities of the hotel including the Mcely beach, a natural swimming lake before setting off to a wonderful celebration dinner at the hotel restaurant.
This morning and after a final breakfast together at your hotel, your trip leaders drive you to the Prague airport at around 12 PM.
