Czech Republic & Austria Bike Tour Itinerary

Meet in Prague and shuttle one hour south to the Czech countryside. Gather for a welcome drink and bike fitting session before getting on your bike for your first ride of the week.

Today's ride is an easy ride through fields and forest on traffic free roads to the the 15th century town of Tabor and your hotel located in the city center. This evening dinner is served at a local restaurant in the heart of town.

This morning and after a home style breakfast with your new found friends transfer to the town of Hulboka. From there start riding through the countryside on a easy ride until your reach the medieval and very traditional village of Holasovice.

For lunch try some of the traditional Czech dishes. End the day in Czeky Krumlov, a 12th century unesco world heritage town. Dinner is on your own that night and you have a chance to choose among the many brasseries & restaurants the town offers.

Today's ride heads into a natural reserve so get on your bike for an easy ride in the countryside surrounding Cesky Krumlov .

Today’s lunch is on your own in one of the villages along the way. Once back in town, you are free to either return to your hotel and relax or discover the town in more details. In the evening, dinner is at a famous restaurant in the heart of Cesky Krumlov.

This morning you cross the border to Austria where you start your ride for the day. Today's ride is a rolling ride that takes you through manicured villages and lovely farmhouses.

Lunch is organized along the way by your leaders but we won't tell your more until then. This evening make yourself at home in your hotel overlooking the Danube river.

Today's ride is the easiest of the week, you bike from your hotel along the Danube river to the abbey of Melk which was founded in 1089. Lunch is on your own today in the town of Melk.

Later that afternoon and after a nice ride back you arrive back at the hotel in time for some downtime, and perhaps a swim, before setting off to a wonderful restaurant for your celebration dinner.

This morning and after a final breakfast together at your hotel, your trip leaders drive you to the Vienna airport at around 12 PM.

From there you have the choice to either take a flight and fly back home after a memorable week in Czech Republic & Austria, or you may choose to stay some more time in Austria and do some more sightseeing.

The hotel Nautilus is located on the main square of the town and is a great location to rest after a day of biking.
